This website provides public information about the FishScan project, aiming at developing a system for continuous and highly accurate remote monitoring of weight, growth and size distribution of fish in aquaculture enclosures. FishScan was initiated by the coordinating SME, Stovik Aqua AS, and funded the funding scheme "Research for SMEs" within the EU 7th Framework Programme.

Official start date of the project was on June 1st, 2011. Project duration is 24 months.

FishScan project partners Storvik Aqua, AquaBioTech and Teknologisk Institutt proudly presented their companies and projects, including FishScan at their stands at the AquaNor 2011 exhibition in Norway. 

Project 9-month Management Board meeting

FishScan RTD partner Teknologisk Institutt hosted the 9 month Management Board meeting in Oslo, Norway in February 2012.
